The FI and I (due to school issues) have to get married this summer for us to live together. Our original plan was to get married in December and stay at the school we are now but he has been accepted to the program that he has wanted for a very long time now (in another state). Now our choice is to have an exchanging of rings and sign our marriage certificate earlier.I thought to have both, something small and special for just him and I. And as I talked to my mother she said, " what is the point in getting married twice? If you have a "court wedding" why bother having a bigger celebration?!? This idea is simply ridiculous." What would you do? Would you do both or just one and live in two separate places until December? I know I'm being silly over something so small and unimportant but I want everything to be just right. Anyone have any advice?? Thanks Ladies!
