Second Guessing?

Hello everyone!!

I am really starting to get into my planning of my wedding, which is next September. I have the dress picked out, deposit on the venue, bridal party, and a florist. I am second guessing everything I have done besides getting engaged to my fiance! Is this normal??? Is this a sign of wedding burnout? I have been known to be a bit of a perfectionist, so I'm sure that's part of it, but it would be comforting to know that I am not alone! LOL.

I would try to space out your decisions if that's how you are feeling. What will happen is you'll be totally done and then have six months to sit and wait and then you'll really think hard about every choice you've made, in which case, yes, you'll probably be second guessing everything. I've kind of done things in spurts - a few things at the year mark, a few at 9-month, 6-months and 3-months out to spread it out.

I agree. I have tried to make the joint decisions (venue, guests, etc) with my fiance before his busy season at his job starts. I think after we meet with the florist I am taking a break until January! Thanks for the advice!
