Handkerchief invitations...?

I saw this on pinterest, and I like it. But I want to know if it is worth it? The only thing that throws m off a bit is the price, but I am still looking for another place that makes them.

Have any of you seen these invites in person, or used them as invites? Did you like them, and where would you recommend getting them from?

[QUOTE] Of the guests that keep the handkerchief invitation, there is a possibility that the invitation will be used to catch the contents of a blown nose.

Lol! I think that's worse than personalized napkins and guests wiping their mouths with your money!

  • Good points by both ladies.  In all honesty I think that would be a waste of money.  Let your invitation do its job - it sets the tone for the formality of your wedding and should give your guests a clue on how to dress, etc.  If you get a hankie you are gonna think, "WTH?"  I would not save it unless it was my daughter's, or someday, my granddaughters and then it would be stuck in a drawer and I would not be happy that I had to keep something like that around out of guilt.

Please know that I expecially hate hankies and the idea of giving them as gifts, let alone invitations.  I am anti-hankie all the way and that obviously jades my response.

Dislike. I am finding myself more and more aggravated by ideas people are getting from Pinterest. Just because something is on Pinterest does not make it a good idea. I agree with the above. You will spend way too much money for something people are just going to throw away. I'm like kmmssg. I would feel like I had to keep it out of guilt and would be aggravated by that.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
