Fiance Hates My Dress! (LONG SORRY)

Hi ladies,

So what if my fiance hates my dress??
I was paging through a bridal magazine the other day and by total chance this dress I really liked happened to have an add in the book.  My fiance was sitting next to me and glanced over while I was on that page and he said "That dress is so ugly I hope you would never get something like that" after seeing my silent reaction he quickly back tracked and covered it up with a not so convincing "but I would still ike it".  Now I have not purchased the dress yet but I have tried on atleast a hundred dresses and very few have made me smile. This particular dress (justin alexander 8484) is a little over the top but I iked it.

Initially my FI had said he did not really like the shape of ball gowns but that whatever I chose would be fine...so it is just this particular ball gown that he seems to think is ugly?!!?? and I know I need ot pick the dress that I like best and all that but idk if it worth the chance that my fiance may not like it.  It is his wedding as well and I want him to think I am absolutely stunning.

Does anyone else have any experience with this? should I just get another dress that I do like but maybe not as much as this dress but I atleast know my FI will like it???
