1. I though blondie should have won, but that's just me.

2. Nyle was an interesting character

3. What was that sweet water thing?

I really liked that girl that won, I loved the thing about the church, even though I am not getting married in one. 
I totally agree with you about Nyle, different for sure and I would never EVER do my first dance like that, I want it to be special and go with the flow.

I really liked the wedding where they were married in the church where the bride's family were married years earlier.  i thought that was really sweet.  FI and I are actually getting married at the church that my grandfather actually helped build (wayyyy back in the day) and my parents were married there too.  It wouldn't be a huge deal if it didn't work out that way, but since it did, I'm happy about it.  So I thought it was cute when they did that on the show.

No idea about the sweet water thing.  I've never heard of that!

I also think that Nyle was kind of interesting.  I understand that she was trying to go for a 'different' feel, but I personally wouldn't have been a happy camper if I had to stand around outside in the heat for hours and then walk a mile in heels.  I kinda thought that was a little inconsiderate, but maybe that's just me.

I didn't see who won, but that was one of the first episodes I saw where the brides were actually really nice about each other's weddings and not trashing them.

I hated the blonde and i'm kind of glad she didn't win- even though the other girls RAVED about her wedding but gave her lower scores.

Nyle was the one who got married in Central Park?? That walk seemed a bit crazy. Who wants to walk a mile in that heat to get to the reception??

I never heard of the water thing before but it looked interesting.

The girl that won has my dress!!!!! I saw it and I could not believe that, of all the dresses in the world, the one I chose was on national TV. Not so sure how I feel about that lol

Absolutely hate the concept of the show.  I think it's just another thing that encourages brides to think that everything has to be a "production", and everything has to be "unique".

Everyone has their own ideas about what makes a great wedding, and I don't think pitting brides against each other is ever a good thing.  I watched it twice (to give it a second chance) but it just rubs me very, very wrong.

You're right Trix but for DH and me it's like watching a wreck on the highway.  We can't help but watch and have our own running (usually very snarky) commentary throughout.

I completely get a guilty pleasure tv show.  I have my own.  =)  And four weddings absolutely does call for snarky commentary.  I'd love to see it done with an  MST3K  type commentary going on.

I didn't get to see the whole show but saw a good portion.

I don't mind watching the show but it is not something I would got out of my way to see. These wedding shows can be quite colliding if not watched in moderation, lol.

I enjoy watching them for the purpose of what not to do at my wedding.. maybe with a few good ideas thrown in every now and then.
