Unity Cross

I'm considering using a Unity Cross in my ceremony. However, I wanted to know if any other brides have used it & what was their experience? Did you like it? I know I can use it in my wedding & then display it in our home afterwards, but I want some other opinions before I bought it.

    I am having a Catholic ceremony and the unity ceremony part hadn't come up so I asked about it. Our Priest actually advised us against it for the same reasons Kristan said. I just thought it was the 'norm' but I am glad we aren't doing it.

    I'm all for unity ceremonies that are meaningful to the couple, but i would tell you not to buy that cross. It loojs cheap, and is way overpriced. Why not get another cross and conduct the ceremony with it? Maybe even one tht's been in your family or home?
