i'm bummed...

hi all.... I'm just feeling a bit low tonight.   My wedding is in 59 days (whoo hoo! THAT's not what's bumming me out )  but right now I'm terribly sick. My doc says I've got a 'double whammy' with a super bad sinus cold thingy AND the flu.  What this means is that I had to cancel my first dress fitting scheduled for tomorrow evening.  My bridal shop is super busy and I'm not sure when I can get in again.  They were already concerned about the amount of time they have left to get the dress done.   On top of this, I haven't been able to find the perfect strapless bra that will adequately hold my girls up and look good.

I know it will all fall into place and that everything WILL turn out but for tonight, I'm just wallowing in my sickness and wishing I could be trying my beautiful dress on again tomorrow.

Being sick sucks balls. Just rest up, and stay hydrated. Hope you feel better

I've seen this happen quite a few times!  The stress of the upcoming wedding weakens brides' immune systems and so many get sick!  Rest up, drink plenty of fluids, and try to relax as much as you can.

Take care of yourself--rest and stay all hydrated everything will fall into places (im sure they will fit you in they want your business!) And search online for bras also dept stores like dillards, pennys, sears might have something! Good luck

Eww me too...I have some stomach virus.  And of course my professors don't believe that I'm sick enough to miss class.  I just want to say, "Do you want pictures??  Cause it's graphic."

jferlenda - it's nice to know that someone else feels this way!  I ended up in the ER on IV antibiotics a month ago with a massive bladder infection and my French professor required me to bring her all the paperwork involved and then MADE COPIES for her files.  That was...pretty private stuff.  Not thrilled that I had to sacrifice my privacy and dignity just to recoup my "participation points."

Thanks ladies!  I'm feeling a bit better this morning so might actually try make it into work this afternooon.... god knows that I probably have a bazillion voice messages and 'emergencies' waiting for me *sigh*

So sorry to hear that so many of you are feeling the same way... hopefully we ALL feel better soon!!
