Hello I am in need of help. We are trying to win a free wedding from disney, but we need people to vote for us! Like most people we have hit hard times in the past few years and we can not afford a wedding this is our only hope, PLEASE HELP it only takes a minute! Asking votes from complete strangers on a board that you've never once posted on before never goes over well. If I were you, I'd remove the link. All you've done is the people here to vote for your competition.

Grow up and pay for your own wedding like the rest of us have had to do. Everyone here has been through hard times as well, but you don't see us asking for handouts.

Excuseee you. My mom and dad didnt pay for anything. My husband and I paid for our entire wedding. You're the one wanting a handout (votes to win something).

</div><div>To be totally honest, I get tired of posts from people who are brand new to the message boards, asking a bunch of strangers to help them win some sort of contest.  If you had a chat history here and some people on the boards knew you (in internet form, of course), I could understand a bit better.  NCSUPsych and the others make good points that I hope you'll listen to, even if you felt it was harsh.  A great many of us are having to save up and pay for our own weddings with or without the help of parents or relatives.  In fact, a LOT of brides on the boards are paying for their own weddings without help.  Seeing posts asking for free wedding stuff or a dream wedding contest feels like a slap in the face when we've worked so hard to have the wedding we have had (or are going to have).</div><div>

Yeah, I dont think I've seen you be rude either. And I wouldn't consider what you said rude, I'd consider it constructive advice.

Our marriage liscense only cost 60 here I believe. A LOT cheaper than a disney wedding!
