I hate that FI never gets any wedding task assigned to him done. I asked himto find the officiant, which he didn't do for months so I found one. Then I asked him to find a DJ, which he hasn't done for 3 months. He volunteered to take care of the invitations, which again he did notdo anything about!
Everytime I bring up wedding chores, he complains about it being too late in the day, he is busy, he wants to relax or some other excuse. He also complains when I say how much a vendor charges. Apparently the cost stresses him out. I understand this since we are paying for the wedding ourselves. It seems easier if I just do this myself, but it doesn't seem fair for me to have to pay for most of our wedding especially since I make a lot less than him.
Additionally he complains that I should scale back on the wedding. I am choosing the cheapest option for pretty much everything except for the photographer. I got my dress at a sample sale, am doing my own hair & make up, making the invites & favors by hand and making all th boquets. Add to that I have a very demanding full time job!
This is stressing me out and makes me feel like maybe he really doesn't want to marry me. I am so depressed and confused
