New car...awesome

FI's transmission in his beloved (not) Saturn is shot. He doesn't like SUVs. I have a Scion but it's too small for his taste. Any recs that won't break the bank 9+ months out from the wedding? New or used!! P.S. My mom and I meeting with Lyndsey Loring. I'm way more excited than I should be :-D

What about a subaru legacy? i recently got an impreza which I LOVE. Or a mazda 6? Used versions of both should be relatively reasonable (I think).

I would say a Honda Civic or a Toyota Carolla.  My family has had great luck with Toyotas, and the resale values hold up well.  FI's family is on their 2nd Civic and the 1st one lasted 180K miles.  Good luck!

Just bought a new Pontiac G6 in the spring and love it! It was also very reasonably priced!

I have a Mazda 3 which might be a bit small, but the Mazda 6 is a good size and I love my Mazda!

I have a Subaru Legacy and my FI has a Subaru Impreza WRX, both amazing cars. You can get them relatively cheap also. Good luck with the hunt!
