I don't know that "too much" is the term I would use, but I do think it gives off a much more traditional vibe than your gown.

Your gown is absolutely gorgeous (I love the belt!), but rather untraditional, and that veil looks to me like it belongs with a more traditional ballgown.

I would maybe stick with a shorter/funkier veil to keep with the style of your gown. You might want to check Etsy for someone who could create a custom piece for you.

I love cathedral length veils, and think there could definitely be one out there that would work with your dress, but I'm not sure the one you posted is "the one."  The embroidery on it looks much more traditional than your (absoutely STUNNING) dress is.

If you like the look of a long veil, I would keep it suuuper simple, one layer, with absolutely NO embellishment.  Your dress makes enough of a statement on its own.

I agree with having a simple veil with your gown, anything else would be to busy and would take away from all the detail on your dress.

I drool over your gown.  Love it.  And I absolutely think this veil is perfect.  It drapes over the skin well, since the dress shows a lot of skin.  And the veil is simple.  I think the combination is just right.

Agree with PP, it doesn't go with the style of teh dress. Maybe try the MAntella previously suggested or something with a little lace to match the style of your gown (which is AWESOME)
