I purchased my dress back in June and it fit perfect. Back story.. I have recently lost 30 pounds and plan to loose 30 more prior to my wedding. Since it was too late to order a dress I bought the one off the rack. Their solution would be to alter it to a lace up back so that there is flexibility in sizing.
Issue.. Due to the fact of loosing weight I thought I should start alterations in September. Due to the store moving locations they do not want to perform any alterations in October. So they would like it to be completed by then. That would be 30 days prior to my wedding.
Is that normal? I though the final fitting should be around 2 weeks before wedding or am i wrong? I just feel that with me loosing weight I may have issues with how it fits on my wedding day.
