white wedding gown with black accents.

I just got engaged and have started planning! My fiance and I have decided on a black and white theme with vintage touches in it and also a color which right now is undecided. I found a wedding dress made by Justin Alexander that I absolutely fell in love with but Im afraid that when I go to the store to try it on, that it will be out of my price range! So I was hoping to get help to find more dresses similar to the one I found cause so far I havent had any luck.

Below is the link for the dress that I found, please help!

You could also just searching the various designers websites to see what you can find
  • OP - I saw a couple of dresses with black accents at Cincinnati Bride in the Reading Bridal District when I got my dress in January.  They weren't exactly like the one in your link but I'm sure you'll be able to find something at one of those stores.  You may also want to try Kotsovos (I think in Montgomery).

  • Jessica McClintock has a few black and white gowns to choose from.  Her gowns tend to be more on the affordable side.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • A lot of places have dresses that can you can coordinate your wedding colors with. I would try calling some of the local bridal salons and asking what they have in your price range that might work.

[QUOTE]Do you actually want a dress with black or it, or do you feel like you have to because your colors are b/w? The Justin Alexander gown is really pretty!  If you find that it is out of your price range, try oncewed.com to see if someone is selling theirs. PPs Maggie suggestions are pretty, too! White House Black Market has a b/w dress.  It's in a different silhouette, though. <a href="http://www.whitehouseblackmarket.com/store/browse/product.jsp?maxRec=27&pageId=1&productId=570008141&viewAll=true&prd=The+Victoria+Bridal+Gown&subCatId=cat5919278&color=&fromSearch=&inSeam=&posId=1&catId=cat210006&cat=New+Arrivals+The+Wedding+Boutique&onSale=&colorFamily=&maxPg=1&size=" rel="nofollow">http://www.whitehouseblackmarket.com/store/browse/product.jsp?maxRec=27&pageId=1&productId=570008141&viewAll=true&prd=The+Victoria+Bridal+Gown&subCatId=cat5919278&color=&fromSearch=&inSeam=&posId=1&catId=cat210006&cat=New+Arrivals+The+Wedding+Boutique&onSale=&colorFamily=&maxPg=1&size=</a>

    [QUOTE]Try ordering a bridesmaid's dress in black and white. You probably won't spend more than $300-400 that way. A good seamstress could add some black embroidery or lace if you want, and you could easily add a belt or sash. <a href="http://www.jlmcouture.com/Jim-Hjelm-Occasions/Bridesmaid/Additional/Style-5682" rel="nofollow">http://www.jlmcouture.com/Jim-Hjelm-Occasions/Bridesmaid/Additional/Style-5682</a> <a href="http://watters.com/product.php?coll=wtoo&showid=2579" rel="nofollow">http://watters.com/product.php?coll=wtoo&showid=2579</a> <a href="http://watters.com/product.php?coll=wtoo&showid=2474" rel="nofollow">http://watters.com/product.php?coll=wtoo&showid=2474</a> <a href="http://watters.com/product.php?coll=wtoo&showid=2437" rel="nofollow">http://watters.com/product.php?coll=wtoo&showid=2437</a> <a href="http://www.jlmcouture.com/Jim-Hjelm-Occasions/Bridesmaid/Fall/2010/Style-5078" rel="nofollow">http://www.jlmcouture.com/Jim-Hjelm-Occasions/Bridesmaid/Fall/2010/Style-5078</a> <a href="http://www.jlmcouture.com/Jim-Hjelm-Occasions/Bridesmaid/Additional/Style-5979" rel="nofollow">http://www.jlmcouture.com/Jim-Hjelm-Occasions/Bridesmaid/Additional/Style-5979</a> <a href="http://www.jlmcouture.com/Jim-Hjelm-Occasions/Bridesmaid/Additional/Style-5705" rel="nofollow">http://www.jlmcouture.com/Jim-Hjelm-Occasions/Bridesmaid/Additional/Style-5705</a> <a href="http://www.jlmcouture.com/Jim-Hjelm-Occasions/Bridesmaid/Additional/Style-5914" rel="nofollow">http://www.jlmcouture.com/Jim-Hjelm-Occasions/Bridesmaid/Additional/Style-5914</a>
