Hi all-- I think I've posted before about this, but FI and I went to the jeweler yesterday who made my e-ring so now I have more info!
My great-grandmother left my mom and I a diamond ring set in platinum, of which I get 16 diamonds which are perfect for a band (smaller than a center stone would be). After meeting with the jeweler, he suggested using most of them to make a half-eternity band, and then there are 4 smaller ones that he would channel set into the sides of my 3-stone e-ring. FI is happy that we can use all of my Nana's diamonds, and that she will be with me every day (i.e. no hard feelings about adding diamonds to my e-ring).
Question is--should I have him adjust my e-ring before our engagement shoot in October. Or should it be done right before the wedding? I'm leaning towards now, but interested in your thoughts! TIA!
