Wedding hair

I am getting married in October and am in the process of booking a hair stylist for the wedding.  I need help though.  I have decided that I want my hair half up and then long curls.  I plan on wearing a veil toward the back of my head as opposed to sitting right on the top (if that makes sense).  Anyway, I habve been told by a few people that when I go for my trial to bring my hair accessories and veil.  However, I am not sure what kind of hair accessories would work and look best.  Any suggestions?  Keep in mind, I am not a tiara type of girl. and my jewelry is simple- a strand of pearls and pearl earrings that my mom gave me. Thanks.

Re: Wedding hair

  • You don't have to put any hair accessories in your hair if you don't want to. If you just want to wear a veil, that's fine.

www.whiteaisle.com has some pretty barrettes and combs if you do decide you want something.

  • Maybe a silk flower? Or a simple comb/clip to place where your veil goes in to your hair? Otherwise you don't have to do anything...you could ask your hair stylist if she has seen anything that you might like?

I too, am wearing pearls and have a simple dress....I love looking for ideas and products on etsy.com

  • Thank you so much for your advice.  I feel like I want to wear something for when I take the veil off at the reception.  I find tons of pretty crystal combs but wasn't sure with the pearl jewelry
