My fiance and I are thinking of having an outdoor summer wedding. However, the dress I bought is very heavy and I'm afraid I am going to be too hot. I was thinking of purchasing a second dress that looks similar to the one I bought but I can't find one anywhere and I don't want to spend too much money. Does anyone know of a way to have my dress altered so that I can wear it as planned for my ceremony, and then have it shortened for my reception? Any advice on this would be appreciated!
