what kind of emergency bag?

I want to pack an emergency bag of stuff for the wedding day but I've thought of so many things I'd want to put in it that they wouldn't all fit in a clutch purse.  I feel like I need a freaking backpack!  Do you guys have any ideas as for what kind of bag to put your emergency stuff in?  clutch purses are just too small to fit anything in. Mine barely fits my cell phone and some credit cards.  

Here's my list:

cell phone

ibuprofen

shout wipes

lipstick

powder

concealer

safety pins

bobby pins

double stick tape

tampons

list of phone numbers of all bridal party and vendors and parents

</div><div>I suggest you keep most of that stuff in your bridal suite or car or another place that your MOH or someone can access it.  I'd just carry the lipstick, powder, one tampon and I'd add tissues to that....in your clutch.  Put the rest in a bag for someone else to get to and forget about it.

I didn't carry a clutch. I had a large tote bag that I kept everything in. It sat in the back room of the church during the ceremony, and in the bridal suite at the reception, so no one saw it.

well, the hotel the reception is at is huge so if we kept it in the car, it would take somebody a really long walk and probably 15 to 25 minutes to go get it. I would feel really bad sending someone all the way to the car for that.  As for the bridal suite, that will be an equally long distance from the reception hall. The hotel has several buildings and it is another building over.  Also, we aren't checking into it until the night of the wedding or someone else might check in for us.....

I am thinking about putting my emergency stuff in a tote bag and stashing it somewhere at the reception venue (which is about half a mile from the hotel) - perhaps at the coat check or even under one of the tables if the linens are floor length, which for some reason I cannot remember right now.  Perhaps something like this might work for you?  Hope this helps!
