Stockings with open toed shoes???

Im really torn about this.... i dont think my dress will look as good with closed toed shoes (not that u can see them lol) and ive found some open toed ones that i looove!! buuuttt, im picturing the whole white stockings, garter belt look underneath for later (plus the fiance already told me thats what hes expecting haha!) soo is wearing white stockings with open toed shoes going to look rediculous??! some people said to just wait and change into the sexy stuff later for the reception, but im not planning on changing. so advice??! opinions!??
Thanks!! :)

  • Just say no to stockings and open toed shoes. Please.

And as a PSA - it gets SUPER hot under your dress - you really don't want to be wearing panty hose all day anyway. We were married in November, it was 40 degrees outside, and I thought I was going to melt.

  • lol ok ok! no stockings!!
so another question then, thats a lil inappropriate lol. what are yall wearing under ur dresses?? i mean like bridal lingerie? are u supposed to wear like comfy stuff under ur dress and then when u get to ur hotel change into bridal lingerie? ..i just picture bridal lingerie with the stockings, but maybe thats not what people wear these days haha
  • I'm planning on wearing whatever's necessary for my dress. Probably comfy panties & some kind of strapless bra/bustier thing. I'm pretty little, so I don't think I'll need Spanx.

I suggest wearing what you need for shape/comfort during the wedding, and changing into the sexy stuff later.
  • My cousin made us wear stockings with open toed shoes for her wedding....we were all mad when another BM showed up with footless stockings that came up to her knees and got away without them....no fair!

my sister wore normal undergarments and she had spanx also, it depends on the dress, like if you need a special type of bra,
