Kind of freaking out. I've read/heard that you should get your dress anywhere from 6-12 months before your wedding. I talked to consultants at three bridal salons this weekend and all said 6-8 months is "usually" enough time but the earlier the better. One consultant (the one who didn't pressure me at all where the other two did) said that 8 months would be ok so long as I make sure to get my fitting appointments in and actually keep them (I'm surprised someone wouldn't, actually).
So would I be pushing it to wait to buy until the first weekend in March when my mom and best friend can visit and shop with me (they live 2500 miles away). My wedding is November 3 - will eight months be enough?
