Veil for a short dress?

Hey, I'm wearing a short dress (see below) and I'm not sure if a veil would go with it. I don't like birdcage veils, any other suggestions?

    I would consider a birdcage veil. It would make the whole assemble very vintage...It would look amazing. Pretty dress

    I agree with PP that a nice jeweled hair ornament would look fabulous with that dress. A shoulder length viel might look ok, try it if you can but I think a beautiful hair ornament would be the best way to go.
