dress shopping HELP

I'm going wedding dress shopping today and I have no idea what I should take for trying the dresses on. Any suggestions?

    It's also helpful to have an idea of the type of shoes you want to wear the day of--just so you can get an overall feeling of the dress! (e.g. flats vs heels)

    also any jewelry if you already have something in mind, and possibly a hairstyle similar to what you want (up or down).  It'll get messed up trying on different dresses but could give you an idea of how the final product will look :)  My hair was all pulled back when I went shopping and I look so goofy in the pictures, down is much more flattering on me ;)  Also, try on at least ONE dress you wouldn't think you'd like, you may be surprised! :) Happy shopping! :D
