"Online only" dress?

I'm in love with a David's Bridal dress I've been looking at online.. But it's an online only order.. Has anyone had experience ordering online from David's without being able to see the dress beforehand? How did it turn out?

I know a few people that ordered online with DB and had good luck.  The dresses usually come very quickly (like, within a week) Just make sure you take your measurements VERY carefully, and order the correct size.

I would go into the store and see if they have something similar to try on to make sure the silhouette looks good on your body type.  If it does, take the chance.  My dress came in within 6 days.

A couple of my BMs ordered their dresses from DB without trying them on, and they were satisfied. The dresses fit exactly as expected, and the coloring was accurate.

Be sure to have someone take your measurements and follow the size chart exactly and you should be fine.

</div><div>This. Between checking the sizing online and doing this, you should have success with getting the right size and fit of something you knwo you will like. PLEASE make sure you have already seen yourself in something similar to what you're considering, though.. It's amazing how you may think you know what will look good that actually doesn't.. </div>

Thanks all! I have been going to shops and trying on similar styles.. this online dress just seems to have all the elements I'm looking for. The dress is marked down from $650 to $299.. but I worry about the quality at such a low price point. Thinking of ordering the dress and taking it with me to an appointment @DB to try on some other dresses in comparison.. that way if I decide to go with it, I can have them do the alterations.. and If not, I can arrange to return it.

I would suggest you not have them do the alterations. I have heard FAR more negative reviews than positive, and they completely overcharge. 

When i bought my first gown there, they wanted to charge me 200 for alterations that I had done for 50 bucks at a local seamstress... Just a suggestion. 

As long as you have tried on or have seen the material in person, you should know what you're getting so there shouldn't be an issue

Beware buying online.
See the dress in person, get it measured by the store.Most stores even Davids have a no return policy; even if they say they have one.

I bought my dress from DB online only because I live far away from one and I really needed to purchase a dress. It was the first wedding dress I ever tried on. I had my FI measure me carefully and went with the larger of the two sizes i fit between. It worked out great, I read all the online reviews and looked at other reviewer's pics, they all loved the dress. Im going to use a local tailor for alterations. The dress came within 6 days by UPS, and it was free shipping! I recommend ordering from DB.
