two dresses or one?

I am getting married on the beach, in a beautiful and simple gown... then having a reception back home 3 weeks later, i keep hearing that i cant wear the same dress, that i have to get a different one for the reception. is this true?

i hadnt even thought about that.... im checking out an ivory, lace tiered flapper girl styled dress right now.

I'm doing a beach DW and an AHR 2 weeks later too... and I plan to wear the same dress. The other DW knotties have said that sand will come out pretty easily. Do what you want. Almost every girl on the DW board is doing the same.
