I am in a dillema and am seeking advice.
For as long as I can remember purple has been my favorite color. I want a shade of puprle for my bridesmaid dresses and other details in my wedding. I'm thinking a lighter lilac or violet type shade, since my wedding is in the spring 5-26-2012.
This would not be a problem, but my sister got engaged before me, and is getting married after me. She is using puprle in her wedding. She does not want me to use puprle in my wedding, even though it would be a different schemd and different overall color paletter. Hers is purple, blue, and orange. I'm thinking either purple, green, and yellow; purple, pink and white or yellow; or purple, green, and ivory.
Is it wrong for me to use puprle. It is my aboslute favorite color and I can't picture my wedding without it. I may try to just limit it to an accent color, although it is not my first choice, and do pink or yellow bridesmaid dresses, but I just don't know. Either my sister or myself will not be completely happy.
Any advice??
