Veil help please

I need help deciding what style of veils will go best with my gown.  I know that I love cathederal or chapel length...something that will extend just beyond my gown...but I don't know if I should go simple or glitz it up a little.  I am wearing Maggie Sottero Maude.  I am wanting a very elegant/timeless look.  I love an Edward Berger veil with a beautiful beaded pattern along the edges but I honestly don't think it will be that visible.  Not sure I want to pay that price for something that I will only be able to wear during the ceremony and when the detail that I love may not even be visible. I also really like the veil Chelsea Clinton wore....seems very simple but still with a little drama.  I guess I'm really up in the air.  I also don't understand all the diferent widths.  I want good coverage over the shoulders but not anything too poofy.I will try to attach a pic of me in the gown and the EB veil. Any suggestions appreciated.

I like the detail in the veil you posted.  It compliments the dress too I think.

I (personally) prefer either ribbon or lace edging on a veil.  No beading, no dropped crystals or rhinestones throughout since I think they look a bit juvenile.  Especially with your dress, it's satin and elegant and I don't think sparkly stones would look good.  I think a ribbon edge would be great.

Hello dress twin!
I'm planning to wear a fingertip veil that is pretty simple except for a few small appliques in the middle on the back. I chose this one because I wanted something a little different from the many others that I had seen before and this veil fit the bill.

FWIW, I also tried on a fingertip veil with ribbon edging while I had the dress on at the shop. I may only have a photo of that veil from the back but if you are interested in seeing how the ribbon looked up against the dress, I could send the pic to you later.

Hey Leenie!!!  

I'd love to see pics!!  One store put me in a ribbon edge but It was shoulder length and I felt like I was going to first communion not a wedding.  I know I want something longer but just not sure how much "extra" needs to be added.  I personally love lace but don't think it matches style.  So yes I would love to see anything you have tried. When is your wedding date.  I'd love to see another real bride in the dress!!!!

Namoi...thanks!!!   I prefer lace as well...just seemed to be two different styles.  I will check out valuveil.  Seems to be a popular place to order.

Okay ~ I just figured out how to post the pic here. Not the best pics but better than nothing...I was wearing the only Maude they had and it had just come into the shop, so was not fitted for me. Did you get the corset back? I know there was another option.
