What kind of shoes would you pick for the BM Dress?

Well, I finally found my dream dress and the BM dresses!  The thing is, the BM dress was a bit costly so I promised the girls I would buy their jewelry and shoes.  What inexpensive shoes do you think would go best with the BM dress? (It will actually be in a midnight blue color).  I was thinking black but would that look strange next to me in an all white dress?  The groomsmen will be wearing black tuxes with blue vests/ties and black shoes.  Thanks in advance!

Black wouldn't look that strange.  I usually get my shoes at Wal-Mart and Target because I be cheap like that.

I woud pick either silver or black, and then let the BMs choose their own shoes that they already own. There's no need to have them in matching shoes.

If they need new shoes and you want to buy them and they agree to that, then try Payless and Marshall's.

Let them wear their own shoes.  That way no one has to spend extra $$.

I think black will look good especially since it will tie in with the Groomsman's colors. I wouldn't go too cheap on the shoe's as you don't want them to be really uncomfortable and they'll be new so they won't be broken in.

I liked the PP's idea on letting them wear a pair of black shoes they've already got. Maybe just say straps or no straps etc. Most girls have lots of black shoes!

Silver shoes would look nice with midnight blue.  I agree, check out payless, or walmart.. somewhere cheap.  I know all of my girls all have silver shoes from proms and such (they are still pretty young, fresh out of high school) so I'm just going ask them to wear the silver shoes they have!

Black, silver or bronze.  Let them choose their own shoes so that they will be comfortable, but you can give them a bit of guidance if you want, like "black strappy sandals."

If you're not immediately leaning one way or another, do most of them have a preference or already own shoes in a particular color?  I thought white or silver would work with my BM dress colors.  None of them owned anything they wanted to wear but they promptly and unanimously declared that silver would be better because they could see themselves re-wearing silver but not white

So black isn't a bad option... or silver.  Guess I'll have to go take a look and see what's out there!
