I know it's subjective, but what do you all think? I went by myself and do not have family/friends around for opinions. thx http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?keywordText=128&line=m&keywordType=any&page=0&pageSize=12&style=S5128

Re: Maggie Sottero "Mirabelle" / think I found the one

  • That link didn't work for some reason. The only dress that I could find by searching was Maggie Sottero "Mirabella." It is gorgeous and I LOVE the bottom of the dress. It is very classic, yet modern.
  • thanks! yeah, the link didn't work after I posted it, but it is the Mirabella dress... sparkley, asymmetrical, tight A-line, with fun tulle at the bottom. :) Now I just have to wait to see if it can actually be ordered, being that I'm a month late in the process. (5 months until wedding)
  • I LOVE that dress! especially the tulle at the end. I am pretty set on the Maggie dress I want but that one is in the top 3 ;)
  • That's a very pretty dress!

  • It's pretty, but can be tricky depending on your shape.

  • mirabella is a beautiful gown; have you tried it on?  pics?  i had her on and loved it, but went for something a bit different.  it was a nice blend of the dress i went with (rhianna royale) and this sophia tolli that had the same tiered bottom tulle (minus flowers on mine of course) so i thought it was a great contender.
  • That's my dress!! I love it so so so much! PIB of it on a real person (me!).
  • I REALLY liked it when I tried it on, except for the tulle. I despise tulle. I asked if it could be changed and they said no, so that was that. I loved the neckline, the beading, everything else. Sigh. =)
  • thanks all for the responses! I'm heading back to the shop in a moment. Ironically, the dress that I can't seem to get off my mind is the one that I tried on BEFORE the Mirabelle. It's hard to describe: mermaid cut, sweetheart strapless, very cream-colored, mummy-like wrap around the body with a balloon-bottom skirt. Very unique. And twice as much money. *gulp* Going to try them both on and then take pictures. My quandary is that the Mirabelle would be perfect for my NYE night wedding. Sparkly and festive. (And I LOVE tulle!) The "mummy" dress is rather bland (no bling), but otherwise very unique -- and I can't get it off my mind. Anyway, there's been worse quandaries in this world! lol cheerio
  • That's my gown as well. I was so leary when my mom pulled it out at the shop. But I fell in love with it! Can't wait for it to come in November so I can actually put it on and have it fit! Until then, I just pull it up on the website every so often and stare at it :) Good luck with your decision!
  • eeeeeee! the Mirabella is MY wedding dress. I just LOVE it. I got it in white/white and its stunning. its so fresh and delicate and perfect. I think you should get it- but I'm a little biased hehe. i am on the fence about the sash though...i might use it to make big dramatic bows on the backs of my heels. i like the streamline look of it without the sash. but it does give a little kick of fun to the dress too! my wedding is September 12, 2009. :) GL
  • ps- angeliza, i just noticed we are wearing the same dress, and our wedding date is the same too! HA!
