I picked up my dress a couple of weeks ago after finding I needed no alterations at all! The dress fits perfectly! Except... I've always been a bit bigger in the hips than sizes really compensate for. Wearing a petticoat seemed to help by lifting the dress out and away from my rear. I have the Maggie 'Dallas Marie' dress and now am trying to decide between wearing a petticoat and going a little further with bustling it. What do you think? I plan to sell the dress after my Big Day, so I prefer to stay away from permanent alterations... is there like a bustle-slip kind of petticoat I could buy?
