Ordered blind...running of the brides?

Hey brides! I ordered my dress totally blind on July 3rd. I have only seen pictures on the website and in their magazine. The gown hasn't come in yet but I'm torn. Since I haven't seen it should I go to the Running of the Brides (this Friday in DC)  and maybe find something amazing and then sell whichever I don't choose, or should I stick with what I got? I'm really having an internal debate about this and I'd love to hear what you ladies think/would do...this is the one I bought:http://www.marysbridal.com/bridal/5733.htm

    I like the dress you already picked out! But...it would be fun to go to the running of the brides. Are there no stores around that has that Mary's dress instock to at least try on in DC? Maybe you can do that the day before to see it on you. GL and have fun!

    Have you at least tried on ballgown style dresses w/pick ups? If you have and you like them then I think you should be fine. The biggest thing is knowing how that style/fit will look on you.

    I ordered blind as well, tried my dress on for the first time yesterday and am still in love with it, if not more.
