4 months to go and no dress

Just needed to vent a minute. Ordered a dress in Feb. from davids bridal. Well, came in and huge black spot on it and too short.. They did order me another one and once again, TOO SHORT. Now the sample fit in length.. it was actually long. So now I am needing to find a new dress.. Who said wedding planning was easy!

That is totally outrageous!  They screwed up two times!  These are the stories that have given David's Bridal a bad reputation.  I don't blame the entire chain of stores...I know it depends on which one you go to, but that's absolutely ridiculous.  So what are your plans about finding another one?

I have appointments to look for a new dress. I am going to go the route of buying the exact dress I try on. That way no issues!I am moving on from the one I had as too many issues around it.. Maybe some bad luck associated with it!

I'm a whole other horror story from davids bridal.  I got so mad that I almost passed out (and not it wasn't a bridezilla moment... it was totally ridiculous and out of line passive-aggressive behavior by the women that were supposed to be helping me alter the dress).  My advice is go to a smaller botique.  They remember my name and my voice when I call (only called 2 times mind you) and they remember the details about the fit both times when I called.  It makes me feel comfortable in the dress because the people getting me in the dress take the time to see "me" trying it on and buying it and not just another customer in line.Just my thoughts
