I wore a light summer dress.  It was 80 degrees and we were outside most of the time so it was appropriate.  The bridesmaids and my mom (they threw the shower) also all wore summer sundresses.

Since I'm not a dress girl except my wedding dress of course. I wore white capries and a black casual shirt since it was outside and in the mid 80's and very casual.

A bikini! My family was doing lunch at their community pool and I had no idea they planned a surprise bridal shower for me. I showed up and was totally shocked to see the picnic table decorated with balloons and banners and pics of me and my fiance. My bachelorette party is this weekend and I still haven't decided what to wear to that. I'm thinking some kind of sexy dress since we'll be starting with a sex toy party and then hitting the town. I wore a green cotton skirt and a white top to my first shower, second shower I'm wearing a white and blue cotton maxi dress. For my b-party I'll probably just wear jeans and a cute top.

I wore a pink and purple floral sheath dress (from H&M) with heels to one, it was at a hall & a little dressier... and a black/brown/blue floral (more like Hawaiian flowers) with flip flops to the other one.

Mine was a total surprise, so I'm just glad I had make up on!  And thankfully, I was wearing a cute peasant top and khaki capris that day.

I just had mine this past weekend. I thought I was heading over my parents house to eat crabs. Needless to say I was not looking cute~ no makeup, hair wet, t shirt and shorts.  Luckily, as soon as I walked in and was hit with a SURPISE, my bridesmaids whisked me away to my parent's bedroom where they had a dress and accessories waiting!  Apparently they had raided my closet the week before while I was at work to have something ready for when I arrived. Thank god!

I just had my shower this past weekend and went through the shower dress search. After all, it is your day, all eyes are on you and even though you're not in an expensive white dress, you should still feel beautiful, comfortable and confidant. (At least that's what I was told, that I looked confidant, which was probably because I was so comfortable!)

Pink dresses I already owned - hello recession!  It was fine though, I had never worn one and I hardly ever wear the other.  The were semi casual.

White cotton sundress.  It was 102 outside... I would suggest something that "sits" well, as you'll probably be sitting to open presents, with people taking pictures.  Mine was more of a standing dress (LOL).  It was uncomfortable trying to be modest while opening bulky/heavy presents.

well I had a really cute white & brown dress I wanted to wear but I was thrown for such a surprise I unfortunatly was wearing a cotton gray dress that looked like something I would lay next to the pool in....not very happy about that!
