Wedding Dress Sash-not satin!

Hi,Does anyone know where to get a sash for a wedding dress that is NOT satin?I have no idea what the fabric is called, but it's not shiny and more grainy than smooth, they commonly make robbons out of it. (sorry to be so vague!).Any help is appreciated!

by grainy fabric do u mean textured? something similar to brocade/ embroidered fabric?

Grainy with sheen made me think of dupioni silk. Not sure, though.

natural silk is textured and is not as shiny as satin. you could also use taffeta.

Your best bet will probably be to have it made from silk shantung or dupioni silk. It shouldn't cost you much. Try etsy.
