I need some help! My fellow Bride-to-be is looking for a last min maternity wedding dress. she just found out she is 6 weeks along and will not fit in her dress by Oct!! Because of the style of dress letting it out isn't an option. Does anyone know of a place in Toronto where she can find a reasonable priced (300.00 or less) maternity dress? Thanks so much!

You may want to ask on the Toronto board for specific shop recommendations. Your friend could also rush-order a maternity bridesmaid's dress in white (or whatever color she wants) and wear that. Or check out department stores. Are you sure that she won't fit in her dress by then? She'll be, what, 3 or 3.5 months along? She might not even be showing by then. Any chance that the back of her dress could be converted to a corset to allow for a little more room? Or can a belly panel be added?

Are you sure she wont fit in her dress???? Im getting married october 3rd and i will be 18 wks 2days pregnant when i get married. My dress has a corset back, and they are just adding to the panel in the back and then letting it out a inch n a half and then the wk of the wedding doing a final fitting and tweaking it where it need be.  Whats her dress? or the style??

Yes! Your White Dress, it's on Orfus, just around the corner from Windsor Bridal. All the dresses are $299! http://www.yourwhitedress.com/ I had a wonderful experience there, it was a lot of fun. The sales ladies are laid back and really friendly (and some are from Newfoundland!). Maybe you can call ahead and see if they have any maternity dresses in stock.

Hi:Bari Jay bridesmaid dresses have a number of cute styles (50 or so total) that come in maternity.. and you can order in white/ivory.  Might be worth looking at their site.  We were looking into them for a friends wedding and the prices were $200 and under.  RK Bridal had told us they could rush the dress to us in 3 weeks if necessary.  HTH!
