What online bridal shop sites is safe and kind of cheap?

I am wanting to purchase a Maggie Sottero Bridal Gown, but it is so expensive. I am looking at www.jaysbridal.net, and see that it is more in my price range for MS gowns. Is it trust worthy? Are there better websites? Thanks :]

  • Jay's is an authorized dealer. I actually purchased my dress from them. Maggie's only sell their dresses to stores that actual physical locations and Jay's is located in Gainesville, Florida. Their customer service is great and they will answer any questions you have. If you like the price you see on their site then I would order it.

  • Also, look at the post below.

  • I recommend Pearl's Place or RK Bridal's no frills program. I ordered my dress from RK and my bridesmaids dresses from Pearl's Place - both great. RK will match and beat any price that you find by 5%.
  • I live in New Orleans. Pearls Place is an actual store. They dont sell knock offs.
  • If you want to know if an "online" store is trustworthy, go to the Maggie website and see if the store is an authorized seller.  From one of the previous posts, it appears that Jay's is an actual store and an authorized seller, so a really good bet for buying a Maggie online.  If it's not an authorized seller, you are at risk of buying a knock-off or if something is wrong with the dress, you won't be able to have direct communication with Maggie in order to complain.

  • Pearl's Place does not sell replicas/knock-offs. They are actual gowns, sold cheaper because there is no frills of the bridal store consultants and all that. You can direct order from them if you have the style number and size. The $950 Watters gown I love is just $407 from them.
  • I've seen a few maggies (one's i was looking at including the one a got) for different prices depending on the stores the prices are not "set" ( and I'm talking real store with no online option) so if it is an authorized retailer then you have nothing to worry about
