MS Mirabella, opinions!

Hi ladies, I ordered my MS Mirabella in diamond white back at the beginning of May, and at the time, I ordered a diamond white sash to go with it (sash comes with the dress in one of three colors -- antique rose, diamond white, and pure white). I've recently changed our wedding colors from red/gold to raspberry and champagne (or something very similar), and I'm wondering... did anyone with this dress wear a sash and if so, did you wear the rose with a diamond white version of the dress? I haven't found a photo online with that combo, and before I change my order, I'd kind of like to maybe gather thoughts on how it'd look together... That's the dress in antique gold with the rose sash. Thoughts on whether or not it'd look good in diamond white with the same color sash as the one in the pic? Too much going on?

Re: MS Mirabella, opinions!

• I seriously considered this dress...its beautiful!I also tried it in diamond white, w/o a sash.  If I chose it for my wedding, I had planned to wear the dress without he sash.  I think its beautiful without because of the amazing lace.I was at a wedding this summer in which the bride wore this with the rose sash.  The sash kept slipping to low (and did not flatter her) throughout the evening.  She may have not tied it correctly, but she fussed over it the entire evening.
• this dress was one of my top picks... nice choice!  i wouldn't stress over the sash... you can always just get material from anywhere and make your own to match your colors if you want a little color.  otherwise the off-white on white would look lovely.  i think MS's white is too white for me, but the contrast will still look nice i'm sure.  the two whites are not very far off, so it wouldn't really matter what your other colors were.
• I loved this dress- it was my second choice!  Okay, first answer- I tried this on in diamond white with the raspberry sash.  It looks stunning, no questions asked.  I liked that it gave definition to the waist, and stood out a bit.  I honestly don't know if the sash will look good with antique gold dress, if the sash is diamond white.  Can you go back to the salon you ordered your dress at, and see a maggie in gold, and compare it with a diamond white sash from another dress?  That's probably the easiest way to do this.  If you order the raspberry sash and don't like it, there's no reason you can't find something similar elsewhere, or just not wear it at all!  GL!
• It's not like the dress will burst into flames if you put a white and rose color combination together.  I'm pretty sure it will look beautiful.
• Btw, don't overthink stuff.  If you'd normally say, "white and rose look nice togheter" that doesn't change just because it's a wedding.
• Ditto amoro. Rose and white look nice together, I'm sure it'll look beautiful. I tried this dress on yesterday actually with the sash in the picture.
• Thanks everyone. I was leaning towards the rose sash because I did like how the colors looked together, but I've been told some brides on another board and a couple friends that I should leave a sash off completely because they thought it would look too busy adding the sash with all the detailing of the dress. Just wanted to know what some of you thought would look better, I guess not that any of the options looked bad. Thanks for the opinions!
• swim -- sorry to confuse, but I was actually asking about doing the diamond white with raspberry sash like the one you tried on! Glad to know you loved it! I just wanted to figure out whether or not I wanted to change my order from the diamond white sash to the raspberry one. My dress is diamond white -- thanks! :)
• I actually really like it with the sash. That was one of my fave parts of it. It's not like the sash has any bling on it, so I don't think it'll be too much.
• I'm wearing this dress, but in light gold. They said the light gold dress only comes with the antique rose sash so that's what I got. Personally, I thought it looked better without the sash, it made me look taller I think. I did like the color of the sash though and a lot of people who have seen me in the dress like the sash, so I decided to wear no sash for the ceremony but add the sash to mix it up a bit for the reception. :)
• This is the dress that I will be wearing for my wedding.  I am going to wear the diamond white sash with it...I'm debating whether or not to use a brooch to secure the sash rather than tying it in a bow.  Alko726- Have you considered how you are going to bustle it yet?
• Julia -- No clue as to how to bustle it yet! I'm waiting for it to come in so that I can get a good idea as to how I want to do it. They showed me when I tried the same on, but it was hard to tell which looked best because of how big the dress was on it (tons of clips in the back). How about you?
• I have no idea.  I go in for a fitting the middle of september so I'm hoping that my seamstress will have a suggestion.  I'm not really picky, I just don't want to hide any of the amazing detail on the back!
