Pretty plz- have you seen this dress?

I haven't (though I've looked and looked) just wondering if anyone else has? Here's the one I love love love, but I can't get past how much I hate the shiny taffeta fabric: [img] http://tinyurl.com/m8c6gt [/img] I'm looking for the skirt of the above dress, on a nice, plain dress. Minimal beading (I'm just going to have it taken off), no lace overlays/appliques, NO embroidery.... Definitely looking for a trumpet/ dropped waist. Ruching rocks, I don't care what direction it goes in. I'm really not terribly particular- as long as it's plain! I just want (nay, NEED) the layered look to the skirt like the above pic I have a decent budget, too, but no way can I afford a Melissa Sweet or POBI've searched Maggie, Watters, Jasmine, Emerald, Saison Blanche, Alfred Angelo, 90% of Casablanca (GAH there's so many!) PLZ help? Have you seen a dress like this? I reseached having it made but I'm too scared to do it! I think I'd have an anxiety attack every day until it was done THANK YOU soo sososo much ahead of time! ::crossing my fingers that someone's seen this::

Oh- DUH- I mentioned that I hate the fabric? That's the ONLY reason I'm looking for a different dress- ANYTHING other than shiny, swishy taffeta! I hate it so much   (I think I could get past the swishy-crispy feeling if it just wasn't so flipping shiny. ::tear::)

A few Maggies are close: Dallas Marie- could easily remove the sash/brooch Hunter- has one ornamentation on the hip, could probably be removed (oops....that's taffeta...sorry) Summer Royale

have you checked to see if you can order the dress in a different fabric? i have come accross some in my dress shopping that i ahte (satin) and i know some of the designers will make it in a different fabric and some wont....

Taffeta is a very thin, lightweight fabric. It is very likely you will not find another fabric that ruches and drapes in the same way. Satin is much thicker and doesn't give you the same style. Have you asked the bridal salon if they have or can get something similar in a different fabric? I was thinking silk taffeta, but it would be way more expensive.

I would definitely try the designer Sophia Tolli. (www.sophiatolli.com) She has beautiful dresses and they're all made of very high quality material. Thanks ladies for all of those links!! I'm definitely going to ask about the Summer Royale (though it's a new Maggie- they'll be released a few at a time until next spring! I really liked Madison Marie too but it won't be out until spring   )bridesright- that is the Hunter! (In my pic) It's my favorite, I REALLY love it, really hate the fabric.  I never thought to ask if I could have THIS one made in another fabric, though- calling them right now! Thanks so much!

Justin Alexander has a similiar gown in dupioni silk
