Pearl's Place

Hello All! I just recently got engaged and I'm super excited to go dress shopping! I really want to go to Pearl's Place in New Orleans, LA. But I've read so many bad reviews about them. I'm thinking about just toughing it out and going anyway . I'm not getting married till May of 2011, so I think I'd have time if some problem came up. Has anybody gone there and can recommend a good sale rep....or atleast let me know who's bad???? Thanks for all the help!! XOXO

Re: Pearl's Place

  • I have been on the knot, off an on since 2004 and I've heard TONS of great stuff about Pearl's Place. I'm sure you've seen a lot of bad stuff, because people tend to post bad before they do good. :(

  • I got my wedding dress from there.  I went three times and had three different sales reps.  They were all very good.  The only bad thing I could say about it is that it is so crazy in there.  There are TONS of people in there constantly.  You can NOT beat the dress selection they have though.  Good luck!!
  • I hear their alterations suck and are very expensive. If you buy from them go somewhere else for the alterations. And don't let them fool you into the 'alterations are free' I got a quote from them and told them we didn't need the alterations and they knocked the price down.

  • I've heard from many people that their online customer service is much better than the service you get at their actual store.

  • Thats what Ive heard too, that ordering the dress from them from afar is much better than actually going to the store, and cheaper, for some reason. When you call for a quote, they literally ask you right off the bat which state you live in. I got my wedding gown AND bm's dresses from them and all the dresses are amazing and so was the PRICE.
