Removing trains...

Has anyone ever removed the train on their dresses?  Mine has a plain bottom, no beadding/trim and a small train.  I have considered removing it because I am not a huge fan of them but otherwise am totally in love with the dress.  Thanks!

    I'm not, but a good friend of mine did this. The skirt on her dress was also plain and she simply told them to chop it off.

    Ditto PP just tell your seamstress to cut it off and make the bottom all one length. I really can't imagine why this would be a big deal.

    I used to work as a fashion assistant to a bridal designer.  Taking the train off is not a big deal whatsoever...
