Eloping - Which dress is more appropriate?

So, I trust your judgements around here. Long story short. Bought a dress. Really like it, but its a dress - I didn't get teary or anything. Decided that we will probably cancel wedding plans and go to Vegas with our parents and get married. Options: Keep original dress as is, keep dress but chop off train, or go with much simpler dress since we are eloping. Here is the dress, as well as the alternative I am considering. Second image is supposed to be the Davids bridal BR1010; strapless, still has pickups, but no train and plain satin. Red sash and red shoes. Thanks!

I like the original dress. I don't think the DB is different enough that it would make sense to get a whole new dress. I think if you were going in a totally different direction something sleek or plain then it would make sense.

Personally, I"d sell the dress you have and get something sleek and simple for the elopement (is that a word? lol). If you keep the dress, I'd chop off the train.

I would either bustle this one or take the train off; or like PP said, go with something a bit sleeker and more manageable. Maybe something like this?
