Re: preownedweddingdresses.com

  • everything I have heard is good, I am on a weekly mailing list myself.
  • Great but I purchased from someone who lives not too far from me. I was able to try on in person, confirm it was real and pay in cash.
  • You have to pay $25 just to post your listing so I'm sure there aren't a huge amount (if any) of scammers like there are on other free sites like craigslist. They're better off going through ebay and paying $3 to post an auction.Make sure you ask if there is anything wrong with the dress, ask for pictures, and double check sizing as well as height to make sure it hasn't been altered too short for you (unless you're a shorty).
  • I considered buying a dress from that site and have only heard good things about it. I kept in contact back and forth with the girl that I was going to purchase the gown from and in talking to her, I found that it was legit. I would make sure to ask a lot of questions, look at pictures, and try on the dress (at least in the store) before buying it. The one that I was going to buy couldn't be altered to fit me so I was glad that I had spoken to a seamstress and shown her pictures before I bought it.
  • I sold a dress on there. I would use it again to buy or to sell
