Buying a dress online

I recently went to try on dresses (yay!) and I fell in love with a Maggie Sottero dress. It was rather pricey. After going home, I googled it and noticed that i found the exact dress online for half the price! I know people have obviously bought dresses online but I wanted to know people's different experience with online dress buying. How do I know if a website is "trustworthy"? I don't know about that website but you should check out Pearls Place or Jay's Bridal (I ordered my dress from Jay's). Maggie Sottero has a bottom price that they will sell their dresses for. If you find a dress that is much, much lower online than what you saw in the store I would be careful. Maggie's are also only sold in places that have actual store fronts. Pearls Place and Jay's are actual store in the south.

Hey Ash,I was pretty stoked when I saw topbridaldress.com, too, but a google search led to this message board actually:http://talk.theknot.com/boards/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=57176936&forumid=15For an authentic dress, I'm pretty sure Pearl's Place and RK Bridal carry Maggie Sottero (because I'm trying to locate a discounted MS dress too!).  I can't remember their numbers, but look them up online and give them a call for a free quote.  Good luck in the search!

Thank you so much for the information! I thought it had to be too good to be true that the price was sooo low. That's such a shame that they can get away with a scam like that by posting the "real" MS dress and then they ship you something that is fraud.

I bought my dress online (it's a Marisa) from Victoriasbridal.com  They have a real store in Florida and do a similar thing as RK with the price discount.  I love my dress, it was perfect, and much much less online.
