white -vs-diamond white

I have always wanted a white dress and still do, but the dress I have fallen in love with (Blue by Enzoani Ankara) only comes in Diamond white. Has anybody had a diamond white wedding dress? How off-white does it look in pictures? My fiance and I are getting married on a beach and I wanted him and his groomsmen in white and blue (white capri pants probably), but I am afraid that it won't look good if my dress is off-white? Any ideas/suggestions/advice? Or maybe a picture of a diamond white wedding dress that is from their wedding picture would be appreciated!Thanks! Melissa

I like diamond white MUCH better than white. It's really not ivory at all it is just a softer white that is not as harsh on the skin. You won't even see a difference next to the white capri pants. IMO VERY few people look good in white white.

Nobody's ever going to notice the difference between white and diamond white. Heck, I bet half your guests would say, "I love your white dress!" even if you were wearing ivory or another off-white color. My dress will be diamond white - no pics since it's not in yet.

No one will notice the difference. I'm wearing diamond white and the guys white shirts look fine with it.

You have tried on Blue by Enzoani's dress in diamond white, right? (I love their dresses.) It's pretty white but without the harsh look. I want a white dress, too, but I wouldnt' go for pure white. Diamond white is not too far from white white but looks so much better.

i tried my dress as a sample in diomand white. i ordered mine in pure white only because my wedding colors where black and white.there was not much difference it was like a faded white not really ivory at all.im sure it will look fine with the GM.GL

I tried a bunch of Enzoani's in diamond white and they looked much better on me than stark white. I agree with PPs that very few people look good in stark white...

I have a Blue by Enzoani Gown- Adana in the diamond white and I love it! It looks very white when I'm wearing it.

Thanks everybody! You made me feel much better. I did try the dress on but it was in Ivory, so I am not sure what the diamond white looks like. I am glad to hear that some of you have diamond white with white in the wedding party, that was my biggest worry...that it wouldn't look good together. Thanks again!
