Ivory Dress Question...

Because I am a fair skinned bride, I have ordered an ivory dress.  Does this mean that my invites and cake etc should also be in ivory?  What do you think?

They don't have to be ivory. My dress is ivory and my invitations were white. The cake was going to be white but my baker is going to give it an ivory tint. Do what you want.

Not necessary, I've never heard that you have to match your dress with the rest before. My dress is Ivory and my cake will be white, our invitations were blue & cream (you can see them on my Bio), and the rest of the decoration (reception....etc) will be White and Blue. You should pick the colors that you like and make it your way

Doesn't matter.  I have NEVER gone to a wedding and noticed how well or how badly the invites or the cake matched the dress!  NEVER even crossed my mind.  So basically, you are free to do your invites in any color you want.  Good luck with everything.  I'm sure everything will look wonderful.
