Ordering from Pearl's Place

I was wondering if anyone had order their dress from Pearl's Place. It is a shop that's based in New Orleans, but there is an online store that offers AMAZING discounts on designer dresses. I have my heart set on an Augusta Jones dress (Roberta to be exact), and I can get over $800 off the dress if I order from Pearl's place, so I'm just looking for some feedback. HELP PLEASE!Kristin

I can't help with the online ordering, but I live in new orleans and bought my dress from the pearls place store.  I had excellent service and my dress came in months early.  They have been in business for as long as I can remember (at least 20 years) so they are not a fly by night type of company.  I know that they do get a lot of complaints with their alterations department, but you won't have to deal with that so I would say that you are very safe in ordering from them.  It's probably the most popular place in new orleans for bridal gowns.  HTH!

Ordered my BM dresses from Pearl's Place. They came in fast and were perfect. We saved $100 per dress.

Yes, yes, yes. Got both my wedding dress AND bm's dresses from PP. Oh and netbride couldnt even TOUCH PP's price on the BM's dresses, they were $40 higher. My wedding dress is a Maggie Sottero and was in my hands 3 months and one week after the day I ordered it, which is QUICK. Price was competitive, NO sales tax and free shipping on it. As for the Bm's dresses, the local stores and NetBride wanted $125-ish and PP wanted $85, so you can imagine who i went with. The dresses were on my doorstep in FIVE WEEKS. I would not hesistate to buy from Pearl's Place again.
