Need advice: Accessories with 2-tier veil?

Hello all, I usually lurk the forums, but couldn't find an answer to this anywhere! I am planning to wear a 2-tier veil with the blusher over my face as I'm walking down the aisle. My question is, I would like to pin some real flowers in my hair on the side, but how does that work with a blusher? Do you just pin the flowers as usual so when the blusher gets pulled back the flowers will be there? Am worried it might look lumpy underneath the blusher.. Thanks in advance, everyone!

I would leave the flowers out until after the ceremony.  I think flowers and a veil together look too busy.
