Thank you so much!! What else do you recommend we visit while we're there? I've heard some great things about ziplining tours and things... It's so good to hear we made a good choice for our honeymoon :) thanks again!!

We were there for a few hours on a cruise stop, but it was my favorite part of the cruise. We were advised to stay with a tour group instead of exploring the city on our own (it isn't know for its tourist safety apparently). After we did the falls we went to a beach with our tour group (Dolphin Cove maybe?). I heard great things about the ziplining, booze cruise, and the shopping. I guess you can get great deals in town. When you go to the Falls, just make sure you are watching how you exit. There are two ways to exit - one goes directly to the parking lot. The other goes through a TON of little vendor shops and you can definitely get cornered. Don't tell them your name (they'll start personalizing something while you are browsing and then make you pay for it).

ericaah- I'm so sorry to butt in, but if you don't mind can I ask a question about your honeymoon. Where are you staying in Ocho Rios? I saw some deals with Sandals and since I've never stayed at a Sandals or been to Ocho Rios I wasn't sure if you recommended one resort over another. Thanks!

oh you're not butting in at all! do not worry :) We will be staying at the Couples Sans Souci resort in Ocho Rios. It's all inclusive and couples only, much like a Sandals resort, but we just liked this resort a bit more than the Sandals Grande Ocho Rios. I think Sandals has a couple resorts in and near Ocho Rios (I think they have something like 8 on Jamaica alone!). We hadn't heard anything bad about the Sandals Grande Ocho Rios, but had just heard its a massive resort, with rooms on both sides of a main road (one side is beachfront rooms, one side being hillside rooms) and it just wasn't what we were looking for. The Couples Sans Souci looked very intimate, is a bit smaller, and had a better all inclusive package for what we were looking for (excursions are included). I haven't been to either resort, so I can't say which one I like better (maybe some of the other girls can speak from experience) but we were just drawn to the Couples resorts more than the Sandals for it's more intimate feel, but again that's just us. I hope this is at least maybe just a little bit helpful :)

Thank you so much! That sounds amazing! We have been looking at a lot of different places but I came across Ocho Rios the other day and its seems to be a beautiful location but still offer plenty of activities around. Don't know how long FI can sit around for =) I will definetly look into this resort. Thanks again!
