Need your opinion

I just got my mantilla veil that I ordered online for a very good price, so excited.  Here's the thing:  I just tried it on w/my dress and realized that it's not the same color.  In fact, my dress is diamond white and my veil is ivory.  It sucks I love the veil, thank goodness it didn't cost much though.  Do you think an ivory veil would look weird with my diamond white dress?

How Ivory is it? If it's a lighter ivory it could work and may not be that bad, but I think I would need to see a picture to see how different it really is.

I cant say if it would look "weird"  but it certainly is noticable isnt it.

it does look a little off....but i doubt anyone is going to notice is, except for us.

I think it looks fine. In fact, the ivory of the lace on the veil makes the lace stand out a bit more.

I don't know... I don't think I would wear the ivory veil with a white dress because it seems like there's too much of a difference in color.  That's just me though.

IMO, it's very noticeable. Can you take it to a cleaner to see if it's possible to bleach it? They might know the safe way to do it.

You really can see the difference, but I don't really think its a bad thing. The little bit of a difference might be ok.

Hmm...yeah, I was hoping it would be okay but I think the color difference will bother me too much (when I put it on together in natural light, the ivory looks really yellow next to the dress).  Just wanted to see if I was just being too critical of it.  I think I'll try to find another option, and this time I'll make sure to pay attention to what color it is!  At least the veil wasn't really expensive...thanks you all!

Honestly, the color different would bother me and I probably wouldn't wear a veil that didn't match the dress. I ordered a hair flower that didn't exactly match my white dress, so I ended up getting another that did. I don't think it looks awful, but it's something I wouldn't wear. What color did you order it in? Did they send you the wrong color?

I'm sorry but I also think the difference is too noticeable .  That's too bad.  Did you order it in ivory and just think it would be lighter than when it arrived?

I agree with the ladies that it's a bit noticeable (at least in these pictures) and I personally would probably do something to change it but definitely not wear it as is.  Bleaching it, like someone suggested, might be an option?
