- I'm not sure if what i'm about to ask is taboo in any form but i'm in serious need of advice! I have this great book called "Bridal Bargains" which offers a lot of good wedding resources. One of its suggestions is to consider ordering your gown from China, as you'll get a similar quality to the lower end of the bridal gown spectrum like David's or Alfred Angelo. Just this morning I found a gorgeous re-creation of a Carolina Herrerra dress that would've set me back a cool 3 g's but on the website is offered for the low, low price of 500! So in your wise and honest opinions, should I take the risk and buy this awesome dress or go for an authentic gown? Has anyone had experience purchasing a dress from overseas?Meg
