HI everybody - I'm new to the boards. Just got engaged a couple weeks ago.My fiance and I are getting married in Savannah, GA in a tiny (immediate family only) ceremony in a garden next spring. Our plan is to drive to Vegas afterward (road-trip honeymoon!) and have another, sort of mock-ceremony there for our closest friends.SO...my question is this: Does anyone have suggestions for where to buy pretty white dresses? I don't really see myself in a "wedding dress" (nor do I want to spend more than about $500) I'd like something pretty, maybe vintage style, for the Savannah ceremony; then another dress (and potentially another $500!) for the Vegas ceremony, this one maybe sexier/funkier.Anyone have ideas for stores/designers that sell dresses that might work for a wedding, but aren't actually wedding dresses?Sorry for the long message! Looking forward to your responses!

A lot of places have bridesmaids gowns in white, you just have to order it. I know alfred angelo and david's bridal do and they're way, WAY, less than $500. Bridesmaid dresses that is.

I'm gonna chime in with Nordstrom for SURE. That's where I bought my dress. I am SO no a froo froo dress bride and they had exactly what I was looking for and it was only $160.
