How far in advance should I buy a wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses?  My wedding is June 2010.

Well....you could be like me, who forgot about buying her wedding dress until 6 months out from the wedding, and who's bridesmaid just placed the order for her gown a last month (rushed shipping, obviously).Seeing as how I doubt you want that stress, I would suggest doing it around Dec/Jan, and the bridesmaids can wait a little bit longer.

Wedding dress - Start shopping now if you're going to get a high end gown. My pnina tornai took 9 months to be created & sent over to the US. Most lower end dresses will need much less time - You just need to narrow down your budget & what lines you'd like to look at and find out the timelines for those. Bridesmaids should be fine with ~ 4 or 5 months but it doesnt hurt to order sooner.

I think its a good time to start looking for your dress, and its good to do the girls dresses about 4-6 months out. You don't want to have to pay for a rush if you can order early.

I'm getting married in June 2010 also. I ordered my dress this past July but they say to order it no later than November. My MOH didn't have to order her dress until January. We both ordered so soon because the company that we were ordering the dresses from had a July special (free alterations to both the bridal and MOH and bridesmaids- which i only have my MOH).
